Job Summary:

IC Resources is seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our team in the Edinburgh area. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and documenting detailed testing plans for new technology devices, designing and troubleshooting software and hardware for reliability and production testing, and diagnosing issues with new semiconductor components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient and cost-effective testing solutions for large-scale manufacturing.
  • Oversee all testing-related tasks, including both hardware and software, in partnership with internal teams and external testing partners.
  • Implement, refine, and deploy testing programs for remote production sites.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • Design and develop testing protocols and procedures to ensure high-quality test results.

Requirements:

  • Experience with digital, mixed-signal, and power management IC devices, along with hands-on experience on automatic test equipment.
  • Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing techniques and semiconductor testing strategies.
  • Competence in scripting languages like C/C++/Java/Perl/Python.
  • Knowledge of advanced SOC testing equipment (such as V93000 or SMT models).
  • Demonstrated experience with testing tools like spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, VNAs, and similar equipment.
  • Familiarity with system-level and RF/SOC testing is advantageous.
