Job Summary: Rekrooting is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in a full-time, contractual position. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of medical imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines.
- Position patients for optimal image capture and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Develop and process radiographic images to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and images.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a General Radiographer.
- A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH.
- BLS certification preferred.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time, contractual position with a 13-week contract that is extremely extendable. The schedule will be discussed during an interview, but it will require shift flexibility and every other weekend.
Compensation:
$70 per hour, based on experience.
