About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ecologist to lead our team in the East Midlands region. As a key member of our Ecology team, you will be responsible for leading and developing the team, providing technical expertise, and supporting business development activities across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the East Midlands team, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including bid writing, tendering, and framework opportunities.
  • Work closely with our Environmental Managers and Bid Support Team to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to colleagues on projects and bids.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in ecology, with a strong understanding of ecological consultancy.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to provide high-quality technical advice and support.
