About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Parks Motor Group. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage a fast-paced and busy sales environment, ensuring that sales targets are met and exceeded.
  2. Lead, inspire, and engage the sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure they are working to their full potential.
  3. Ensure each member of the sales team is working to achieve targets, and provide coaching and development opportunities to help them improve their performance.
  4. Develop and implement effective sales processes and systems to ensure that sales performance is optimized.
  5. Manage sales team development, performance, and recruitment, ensuring that the team is equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  6. Maximize commercial opportunities through providing advice to sales and aftersales executives, and identifying new business opportunities.
  7. Plan and implement effective local promotions, dealership displays, and advertising campaigns to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
  8. Manage the supply of used car stock effectively, ensuring that the inventory is optimized to meet customer demand.
  9. Understand the relevant local market, competition, and consumer influences, and use this knowledge to inform sales strategies and tactics.
  10. Be a core member of the centre team, observing and leading by example, and contributing to the development of a positive and productive team culture.
Requirements:
  1. A full UK driving licence.
  2. Eligibility to work in the UK.
  3. Flexible to work hours required for the role.
  4. High standards of verbal and written communication.
  5. Proven prior experience in a similar role in the automotive industry.
  6. A successful track record of delivering outstanding results and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  7. Commercially-minded, driven to exceed performance goals.
  8. Calm under pressure, customer and service-oriented.
