About the Role

Petrofac is a leading international service provider to the energy industry, with a diverse client portfolio including many of the world's leading energy companies.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Team Lead to join our team, responsible for supporting the Maintenance and Reliability Manager by acting as the single point of contact within the Petrofac Global Technical Solutions (GTS) team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading a team of disciplined engineers, providing technical discipline guidance and support to the electrical discipline across the wider Petrofac Operated Assets portfolio.
  • Building a high-performing team to deliver on client and internal expectations, seeking out opportunities for team members and self-development.
  • Delegating, providing input, technical support, creating and reviewing technical bids, and driving operational efficiencies across the organization.
  • Developing a strong working relationship with the Electrical Technical Authority, working towards providing DoA.
  • Ensuring all work by team members complies with Petrofac and industry codes and standards.
Requirements
  • Engineering Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Chartered Engineer preferred.
  • Necessary certification for travel offshore.
  • Knowledge and experience of Instrumentation discipline preferred.
  • Must be conversant and knowledgeable with respect to current and new legislation and standards.
  • Must be willing to travel offshore/site.
