About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Activities Coordinator to join our team at Fleetwood Hall Care Home, part of Sandstone Care Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a varied and stimulating daily activity program for residents, taking a hands-on approach and building strong relationships with residents to ensure their needs and interests are catered for.
  • Plan and deliver a range of activities, including films, music, exercise sessions, gardening, games, quizzes, arts and crafts, and outings.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure that activities are tailored to meet the needs and abilities of residents.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with an elderly client group and/or working within a care home environment.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
