Job Description
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Investment Specialist to join our client's global fixed income business. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for evaluating new investment opportunities, performing fundamental research analysis, and conducting credit analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the evaluation of new investment opportunities by conducting thorough research and analysis of companies.
- Perform qualitative analysis and financial modeling duties to support investment decisions.
- Conduct credit analysis to assess the creditworthiness of potential investments.
- Support ongoing monitoring of existing portfolio positions to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop a deep understanding of interest rate movements, credit spreads, yield curve/duration risks, and currency risks.
Requirements
- Experience in financial services is essential, with a strong background in fixed income or credit analysis.
- Some experience in leveraged finance, high yield, and/or wider fixed income businesses is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of credit analysis and financial modeling is beneficial.
- Strong Excel and VBA skills are required.
- A genuine interest in research and financial markets is essential.
