Children's Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children's Nurse to join our team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people with complex health needs in the community setting.
Main Responsibilities- Provide specialist care to children and young people with complex health needs, including epilepsy, enteral feeding, tracheostomy care, and full home ventilation.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Act as a Key Worker for individual children, providing high-quality, integrated assessment and ongoing support.
- Participate in manual handling and the use of personal protective equipment, including FFP3 mask wearing, as required.
- Registered Children's Nurse with a strong background in community care.
- Experience of mentoring, supporting, and developing staff.
- Desirable: Community experience, ITU/HDU experience.
