Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager to join our team at Lodge at Solent. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in supporting the General Manager and Deputy Manager in the smooth operation of our busy Inn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate daily operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing guidance, coaching, and training to enhance skills and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives, drive revenue growth, and maintain high standards of quality and service.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, payroll management, and talent acquisition to meet business needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, food-led operation, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, guests, and external partners.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
