We are seeking a highly skilled Dermatology Consultant to lead our community-based service. As Head of Service, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care to patients and supporting GPs with extended roles in Dermatology.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver onsite clinical sessions in a community-based environment, covering general adult Dermatology clinics, Isotretinoin initiation clinics, and minor surgery.
- Support GPs with extended roles in Dermatology, including teaching and appraisals that can be done remotely.
- Participate in audit, research, and management of the elements of the service relevant to Dermatology.
- Develop clinical care pathways in the overall management of patients and assist in improving these pathways over time.
- Hold a valid DBS check within 12 months.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in Dermatology, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a community-based setting. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with GPs and other healthcare professionals.
