Job Title: Renewable Energy HSS Specialist

Statkraft, Europe's largest generator of renewable energy, is seeking a skilled Renewable Energy HSS Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our European Wind and Solar business area, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and security across our onshore wind, solar power, and grid systems projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise project managers on HSS matters from early development to operations handover
  • Coach, manage, and follow-up local HSS resources designated for each project
  • Liaise with contractors' HSS staff in construction projects
  • Contribute to establishing a good HSS culture in projects, including project kick-offs
  • Participate in relevant activities in all phases of project development and acquisitions
  • Assure, investigate, and provide support for HSS activities in projects elsewhere in our portfolio
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience within HSS in an industrial work environment
  • IOSH & NEBOSH trained
  • Practical experience from execution of large construction projects, preferably within the renewable energy industry
  • Result-oriented, structured, and flexible with ability to create good work relations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
