Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team as a Booking Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out administrative duties, including booking assessment appointments, adding appointments to our database, and sending out correspondence.
Key Responsibilities- Responsibility for booking assessment appointments with clients, adding these appointments onto our database and sending out correspondence.
- Taking calls and passing on messages to the team.
- Inputting data and notes registering client details and continuous updating of client records.
- Discharge clients from the service, corresponding with client and referrer/ GP
- Assist the team administrators with overflow of admin duties.
- Good level of education/GCSE incl. English Language
- Good level of numeracy
- European Computer Driving Licence or equivalent.
- NVQ II or equivalent, or willing to work towards this qualification
- RSA II or equivalent, or willing to work towards this qualification
- General knowledge of office procedures & an all round education, with interest in Health Service Issues
- Be proficient in the use of computerised systems especially Word & Excel to a level to enable the production of a high standard of finished work
- The ability to organise & prioritise own workload & to work under pressure & within agreed guidelines
- Excellent communication skills when dealing with patients, their relatives/carers & other outside agencies either by telephone/letter or face to face contact
- Display the ability to exercise initiative. tact & judgement & be able to make decisions when required to do so
- Appreciation of confidentiality
- Display ability to work as part of a team
