About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Facilities Manager to join our team at Mirus Aircraft Seating Ltd. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, visitors, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and ensure that all facilities and equipment meet the required standards.
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and maintain facilities and equipment, including lighting, heating, security, and plumbing.
  • Coordinate and manage contractors and subcontractors to ensure that work is carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement energy-efficient and cost-saving initiatives to reduce facility running costs.
  • Collaborate with production engineering to sustain and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Oversee and agree contracts and providers for site services, including security, parking, cleaning, catering, and utilities.
  • Project manage or oversee building projects, repairs, and new installations to ensure minimum disruption to core activities.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and monitor contractors and delivery of services against agreed standards.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in facilities management, health and safety, and environmental management. You will also need to have excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage a budget of £0.5 million.
