We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Facilities Manager to join our team at AD WARRIOR. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, visitors, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and ensure that all necessary procedures are in place.
  • Manage and coordinate health and safety meetings and reporting.
  • Oversee the maintenance of site infrastructure and production equipment.
  • Control and manage contractors and subcontract works.
  • Manage facilities works and new equipment implementation.
  • Manage security, personnel, equipment, and relevant monitoring.
What You Will Do
  • Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace, ensuring compliance with legal guidelines.
  • Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety.
  • Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law.
  • Monitor compliance to policies and laws, provide statistics.
  • Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.
  • Investigate accidents or incidents to identify root cause and implement permanent preventative measures.
  • Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, or new prevention measures.
  • Report on health and safety awareness, issues, and statistics.
  • Comply with annual budget and deliver all elements of HSF within agreed budget.
  • Proactively seek cost-reducing solutions to reduce facility running costs.
  • Construct and communicate annual plans for key facilities maintenance objectives and activities.
  • Plan equipment upgrades and machinery modifications, working in conjunction with production engineering.
  • Undertake effective planning and prioritization of workload wherever necessary.
  • Operate in line with relevant legislation, company policy, and company procedures.
  • Oversee and agree contracts and providers for the delivery of site services.
  • Maintain site security services, personnel, and security systems.
  • Project manage or oversee building projects, repairs, and new installations as applicable.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and monitor contractors and delivery of services against agreed standards.
  • Respond to emergencies or urgent issues relating to site services, utilities, and buildings infrastructure.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in facilities management, health and safety, and operations. You will also need to have excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage a budget upwards of £0.5million.
