Join our Operations Planning team and contribute to the success of Williams Racing, a world-renowned Formula One team. As an Operations Analyst Industrial Placement, you will play a critical role in supporting operations and improving efficiency through data analysis and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business processes.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance.
  • Conduct research and data collection for operational projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.

About the Department:

The Operations Planning team is responsible for turning designs into reality, owning the planning, scheduling, and delivery from design demand to finished car parts. Our team of highly motivated and organized planners play a crucial role in delivering performance to the car, often juggling multiple conflicting priorities at the same time.

Role Overview:

As an Operations Analyst Industrial Placement, you will gain experience in every aspect of Formula One planning and manufacturing, an experience very few roles can offer. You will work with some of the most advanced technologies and brightest minds in motorsport, contributing to the future success of Williams Racing.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Ability to interpret data and identify trends for process improvement.
  • Ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau). Knowledge of Power BI would be beneficial but not essential.
