Position Title: Reach Truck Driver

Location: Panattoni Park, Northampton

Shift Schedule: Rotational Shifts

  • Week 1: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Week 2: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Compensation: £13.81 per hour

Contract Type: Ongoing with potential for permanent placement

Job Overview: We are looking for a dependable and skilled Reach Truck Driver to assist in our warehouse operations. This position requires a considerable amount of manual handling and physical exertion, making stamina and fitness crucial. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to adapt to a rotational shift schedule to meet operational needs.

Key Duties:

  • Reach Truck Operation: Efficiently operate reach trucks to transport, stack, and retrieve products within the warehouse.
  • Manual Handling: Perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks, including loading and unloading goods manually.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow warehouse staff to ensure smooth and effective warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Reach Truck Driver is required, along with a valid reach truck certification.
  • Physical Capability: Must be able to regularly perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks.
  • Shift Flexibility: Must be willing to work a rotational shift schedule, including early mornings and late afternoons.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Work Ethic: Must be reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
