Lead Animator

We're seeking a highly skilled Lead Animator to join our team at Tbwa Chiat/Day Inc. As a key member of our animation team, you will be responsible for guiding the creation of high-quality gameplay animation assets and systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the Gameplay Animation team to deliver exceptional animation quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with Art Directors and Art Leads to shape and uphold project direction and vision.
- Develop and implement animation systems and features that meet project requirements.
- Work with related teams to ensure seamless integration of animation with non-gameplay animation.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in animation and game development.
- Strong knowledge of animation principles and keyframe animation.
- Experience with motion capture data and pipelines.
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine or similar game engines.
- Experience with Motion Matching and State Machines development.
- Ability to mentor and grow an animation department.
- Understanding of facial animation.
