**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Ceded Reinsurance Accountant to join our team at JSS Search. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial reporting, data analysis, and technical accounting expertise.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Collaborate with the technical and ceded reinsurance team to ensure accurate month and quarter close reporting
  • Utilize reinsurance data to provide insightful analysis to finance, actuarial, and operations teams on areas such as profit and loss, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Improve newly implemented accounting systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy
  • Ensure all reporting meets regulatory standards (SII/ IFRS17)

**Requirements:**

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge in reinsurance premiums
  • ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA or strong QBE within reinsurance accounting
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills
  • Proficient analytical and data skills, with excellent storytelling for profit and loss
  • Ability to support with close accurately and on time
  • Excellent general ledger and bank reconciliations experience
