Capital Equipment Sales Opportunity

About the Role

  • This is a field-based sales role covering London & the South East, targeting customers within the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
  • You will be responsible for selling essential cleaning machines and solutions to key decision-makers.
  • As a Business Development Manager, you will self-generate appointments and opportunities, with support from in-bound leads and marketing.
  • The role is approximately 75% new business and 25% managing existing accounts.
  • You will build long-term relationships with sales counterparts in the MHE sector, who will be a source of leads and referrals.

Our client is a leading capital equipment manufacturer seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell capital equipment cleaning machines and solutions to industrial and manufacturing customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Self-generate appointments and opportunities, with support from in-bound leads and marketing.
  • Manage and develop existing accounts.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong business development skills, with the ability to self-generate appointments and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of the MHE sector and its key players.
