Eaton Syalon is working with a dynamic owner-managed accountancy practice to find an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage bookkeeping for a portfolio of sole traders and small business clients.
  • Process sales and purchase invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and prepare VAT returns.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts.
  • Liaise with clients to provide support on financial queries.
  • Prepare and submit self-assessment tax returns for sole traders.
  • Support with year-end accounts and liaising with accountants.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in bookkeeping within an accountancy firm setting, and proficiency in Xero (or similar). They will enjoy working autonomously and have excellent attention to detail, as well as the ability to build strong working relationships with clients.
