About the Company
Carrington West is a well-established structural design consultancy renowned for delivering world-class design solutions to clients in the UK and overseas. Their projects are varied and include medium to large-scale projects, encompassing high-rise RC buildings in London.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake concept designs and planning projects through to construction, ensuring technical and commercial expectations are met.
- Lead and manage project teams to deliver projects on budget, meeting technical and commercial expectations.
- Manage project budgets and fees, ensuring financial stability and growth.
- Manage and motivate team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Interact and cultivate relations with clients and other project members, ensuring excellent communication and project delivery.
Requirements
- BEng/MSc (or equivalent) in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Chartered with CEng status ICE/IStructE (preferably IStructE).
- Experience of working in all main materials, including steel, timber, masonry, and concrete.
- Multi-storey / Highrise RC building experience is desirable.
- Client-facing experience and excellent communication skills are essential.
