About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Coordinator to join our team at Adecco. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, kitting, and delivering items to our production teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, store, kit, and deliver items to the production teams in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Control and manage inventory levels, ensuring that materials are available for manufacturing and that stock is accurately recorded.
  • Be responsible for the security of the inventory and ensure that all shipments comply with Export Controls and Dangerous Goods Controls.
  • Liaise with the production team to ensure that material is available for manufacturing and that production schedules are met.
  • Provide training and support to team members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Coordinate the resource requests with other teams and ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement activities to optimize inventory management and reduce costs.
  • Ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and recommend changes to them when appropriate.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the inventory management process.
Requirements
  • Experience of operating in a manufacturing environment and managing inventory levels.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to react swiftly to changing situations.
  • Experience in Export control and handling dangerous goods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with production teams and other stakeholders.
  • Computer literate and able to use an ERP system.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Full current driving license and a valid passport.
  • Due to the nature of this business, all candidates will be required to undergo security clearance at SC level.
