About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Specialist to join our team at Turning Point. As a Recovery Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health issues to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care and support to individuals with mental health issues, promoting their recovery and independence.
  • Develop and implement individually tailored support plans, working closely with individuals to identify and achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective discharge planning and risk management.
  • Work flexibly to manage a small caseload, providing key working sessions and group work to support individuals in their recovery.
Requirements
  • Experience in the mental health sector, with a good understanding of the recovery model.
  • A solution-focused attitude and a person-centred approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to challenging situations.
  • Deep level of empathy, understanding, and patience when working with individuals with diverse needs.
