Tax Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transaction Taxes Director to join our team at Forvis Mazars. As a key member of our corporate tax advisory team, you will be responsible for leading our teams in providing tax due diligence and M&A structuring services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead complex tax due diligence assignments, including corporation tax due diligence services, and liaise with colleagues in VAT, employment taxes, and other specialist tax services.
- Work collaboratively with our transaction services team to win new combined financial and tax due diligence projects and build client relationships through engagements.
- Provide tax advisory structuring services to clients, with responsibilities for successfully delivering complex tax advisory assignments and owning the overall client relationship.
- Collaborate across the wider tax and advisory teams to identify opportunities, develop client relationships, and support other go-to-market initiatives.
- Relevant professional qualification, such as ACA or CTA (or equivalent).
- Strong technical knowledge of key tax issues affecting companies and shareholders on a transaction.
- Experience in transactions, with a track record of leading teams on complex assignments and managing financials on clients.
- Ability to provide assistance, share experience, and proactively support the development of others.
