MW Appointments is seeking a skilled Commercial Claims Executive to join their expanding team in Hertfordshire. As a key member of the Commercial Claims team, you will be responsible for servicing the claims needs of customers and ensuring that all issues relating to the claims process are dealt with proactively.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage a caseload of Commercial Retail claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Register new claims accurately on company computer systems and update records during the life of the claim.
- Ensure all claims and correspondence, on delegated authority cases, are correctly maintained and provide a clear and concise history of events, actions, and quantum assessment.
- Obtain and submit completed Client claim documentation to Insurers or nominated service providers promptly.
- Respond to telephone calls and effectively deal with all enquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
- Process incoming post within agreed service standards.
- Deal with Client enquiries within designated time frames or as otherwise agreed with Client.
- Communicate effectively with Insurers, nominated service providers, engineers, and Loss Adjusters.
- Provide advice and assistance to Clients to actively manage the claim process and minimize lapse time.
- Dispatch claim settlement cheques on date of receipt.
- Maintain an up-to-date daily diary system, taking effective steps to conclude outstanding issues.
- Previous experience within Commercial Claims.
- Excellent Insurance knowledge.
- Able to use own initiative.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- Experience/knowledge of handling retail claims.
- Use of Acturis IT system.
- Good organization skills.
- Strong IT skills, including all MS Office.
This is a permanent role based in Hertfordshire, offering a salary between £30,000 - £35,000. As a valued member of the team, you will benefit from comprehensive training and development opportunities, as well as a supportive and inclusive work environment.
