Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology Instructor to lead our Ultimate Tech program. As a Senior Coding Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technology and coding activities to small groups of children aged 8-14.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging technology and coding activities that cater to the needs and abilities of our young participants.
  • Team Management: Directly manage a team of staff to ensure they deliver exceptional care and activities, adhering to our high standards.
  • Policy Implementation: Ensure all policies and procedures are followed, including health and safety, and safeguarding procedures, to maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and children.
  • Communication: Act as the main point of contact for parents, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage administrative tasks, including equipment maintenance and ordering, to ensure the smooth operation of the program.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold a relevant qualification in IT teaching, Computer Science, or a Digital Media related course, or have equivalent experience and a portfolio of work.
  • Experience: Possess experience in working with children, with a passion for helping young people develop their IT skills.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate natural leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and making decisions.
  • Communication: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with parents, staff, and children in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Problem-Solving: Be able to solve problems effectively, with patience and enthusiasm.
