Job Title: Tech Program Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Program Director to lead our technology and coding programs for children aged 8-14. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality tech activities, managing a team of instructors, and ensuring the overall success of our programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging tech activities for children aged 8-14, focusing on participation, skill development, and enjoyment.
  • Manage a team of instructors, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure they deliver high-quality activities and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to, including health and safety, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Supervise and engage with children outside of timetabled activities.
  • Manage administrative duties, including communication with parents and staff.

Requirements:

  • Qualified or working towards relevant qualifications in IT teaching, Computer Science, or a Digital Media related course.
  • Experience in working with children and a passion for helping young people develop their IT skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and staff.
  • Problem-solving skills and patience, with the ability to help children with technical issues.
