At Wincanton, we are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Scotland Gateway facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate picking, packing, and loading of stock onto pallets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking stock accurately and efficiently using handheld devices
  • Loading items onto pallets
  • Checking picked stock and assembled loads prior to dispatch
  • Maintaining high-quality standards and handling stock with care to ensure it arrives at our customers in perfect condition
  • Ensuring areas are kept clean and tidy
  • Working in a team environment in a safe manner, adhering to site Health & Safety regulations and Safe Systems of Work

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience is an advantage, but we are looking for people with a great attitude and positive behaviors
  • Attention to detail to accurately enable the correct picking of stock
  • Ability to use mechanical handling equipment safely
  • Reliability, self-motivation, and a strong team player with a flexible approach to work
