Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Small Tools Engineer to join our team at HSS Hire Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our full range of hire equipment and tools, ensuring they are in excellent working condition and meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hire equipment and tools, including mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and tools to identify any defects or issues.
  • Advise on product defects and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate service records and update internal computerized systems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure maximum workshop productivity and meet company targets.
  • Champion HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) initiatives and promote teamwork within the depot.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Positive attitude, solution-driven mindset, and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and numerical skills.
  • Manual handling experience is a plus.
