Job Title: Childcare Solicitor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Childcare Solicitor to join our team at William James Recruitment. As a leading recruitment partner to law firms, we are committed to finding the best talent for our clients.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a modern and forward-thinking law firm that offers specialist legal advice across family matters, wealth or asset preservation, and inheritance planning. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in childcare law and experience of working within a care team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of childcare cases, including care proceedings, deprivation of liberty applications, and special guardianship orders.
  • Undertake own advocacy and provide expert advice to clients.
  • Work closely with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years PQE in childcare law.
  • Law Society Children Law Accreditation is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
