About the Role


William James Recruitment is proud to partner with a modern and forward-thinking law firm that offers specialist legal advice across family matters, wealth preservation, and inheritance planning. Due to their continued success and expansion into Hertfordshire, they are seeking a skilled Care Solicitor to join their team.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage a varied caseload of care proceedings, deprivation of liberty applications, secure order applications, special guardianship orders, and adoption cases.
  • Work closely with the care team to provide expert legal advice and representation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in family law and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.


Requirements


  • Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience as a Childcare Solicitor.
  • Proven track record of working in care law and experience of running a caseload.
  • Ability to work to deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage a varied workload.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Law Society Children Law Accreditation is an advantage, but not essential.
