About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Experience Ambassador. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in introducing our local communities to Octopus Energy as a preferred potential supplier.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: You will be responsible for communicating with customers through various channels, including face-to-face interactions at events and venues, to promote Octopus Energy's services and products.
  • Excellent Customer Service: Your primary goal will be to ensure every conversation delivers exceptional customer service, providing meaningful and honest interactions that allow customers to make informed choices.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: You will need to be flexible and adaptable, as your role may require working in different locations, including office-based settings, to support our customers and teams.
Requirements
  • No Sales Experience Necessary: We will provide training and support to help you develop your sales skills, but we are looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service and engaging with customers.
  • Customer-Centric Experience: You should have experience working in a customer-centric environment, where you have developed quick and effective solutions to customer needs.
  • Collaboration and Communication: You will need to work collaboratively with your team to influence and inspire others, and possess excellent communication skills, with a focus on listening and attention to detail.
  • Honesty and Commitment: You should be honest, focused, and committed to delivering the highest levels of customer service, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Driving License: You will need a valid driving license to travel to different locations and venues.
