An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Consultant to join our client, a financial services organisation based in their Sheffield office.
Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a talented and ambitious HR generalist to join their consultancy team.
As a HR advisor, you'll work closely with clients to gain a thorough understanding of their organisational objectives and culture.
You will be comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels of our clients' organisations, assessing risk and providing expert support and guidance in a wide range of employee relations matters.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Enhance Client Relationships: Ensure timely and high-quality HR advice is maintained at all times.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Employment Law and HR Best Practices: Maintain and develop an in-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Create and Develop Employee Handbooks and Policies: Create and/or develop employee handbooks and policies that are legally compliant and tailored to the client's needs.
- Produce High-Quality Documentation: Produce high-quality, legally compliant documentation promptly.
- Advise on HR-Related Scenarios: Advise clients on a wide range of HR-related scenarios including support for investigations, disciplinary or grievance procedures, and organisational change.
- Experience in HR Consultancy: At least 24 months of experience working in a HR consultancy role.
- Proven Experience in HR-Associated Matters: Proven experience in managing relationships and advising on HR-associated matters (grievance, disciplinary, performance management, etc.).
- Good Understanding of Employment Law and HR Best Practices: Good understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Commercial Acumen: Provide commercial advice that translates HR theory or employment legislation into workable recommendations for clients by assessing risk and understanding the client's business objectives.
