• Operate various machine tools, including CNC Punches, CNC Press Brakes, Rollers, Lockforming Equipment, and Hand Tools.
• Conduct maintenance on machine tools, hand tools, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Follow all company policies and procedures as directed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times, including the use of provided personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Complete all training within specified deadlines, such as the LEAN manufacturing course.
• Fulfill the responsibilities of a company employee by acting lawfully and ethically in accordance with your employment contract and the company staff handbook.
• Collaborate with your line manager to advance your professional development, including performance reviews and identifying training needs to ensure competence and compliance.
• Transport raw materials to the machinery.
• Remove machined components from the machines.
• Relocate machined parts to designated areas.
• Sharpen tools for the Punch machine.
• Inspect and replace tools as necessary.
• Dispose of scrap materials appropriately.
• Perform proactive maintenance on the machinery.
• Lift and carry heavy items as required.
• Input programming data into the CPU control unit.
• Interpret engineering drawings and measure components against loading lists and drawings.
• Work independently and collaboratively with team members to complete manufacturing tasks.
• Adhere to a production schedule using loading lists.
• Operate punch machines to cut and shape metal components of varying thicknesses and lengths.
Qualifications
• Gain knowledge from team members and their expertise in fields such as engineering and warehousing.
• Assist team members with safety and production-related tasks.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop a safety strategy for the organization, including budget considerations.
• Perform any additional duties as required by the management team.

• 28 days of holiday including bank holidays
• All PPE is provided free of charge, including work boots
• Early finish at 2:30 PM on Fridays
