About the Role


Junair Spraybooths Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Apprentice to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating machine tools, maintaining equipment, and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities


• Operate CNC Punches, CNC Press Brakes, Rollers, Lockforming Equipment, and Hand Tools to produce high-quality metal parts.
• Maintain machine tools, hand tools, and other manufacturing-related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols and wearing provided PPE.
• Participate in training programs, such as LEAN manufacturing courses, to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Execute responsibilities in a lawful and ethical manner, in accordance with your contract of employment and company staff handbook.
• Work with your line manager to identify and meet training needs, ensuring competence and compliance.
• Perform tasks such as moving raw materials, breaking out machined parts, and sharpening tools.
• Proactively maintain machines and equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production.

Requirements


• Learn from experienced team members and their expertise in field engineering and warehousing.
• Support team members with safety and production-related activities.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop a safety strategy for the business, including budgets and costings.
