Job SummaryThis is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to join a modern, dynamic, and supportive team as an Accounts & Outsourcing Manager. You will play a crucial role in managing the delivery of high-quality outsourcing and accounting services to a portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional client service and satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, management accounts, and other financial reports for clients.
- Outsourced Accounting Functions: Manage the delivery of outsourced accounting functions, including bookkeeping, payroll, VAT returns, and management accounts.
- Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve internal processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
- Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Prior experience of managing or mentoring more junior members of staff, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing issues.
- Time Management and Prioritization: Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Client Service: Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding client service.
- Competitive Salary: Salary of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum.
