About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our team at Vistry Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our timber frame manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of production staff to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  • Monitor and maintain high-quality standards in all aspects of production.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve shared goals and targets.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Identify and address any issues or concerns that may impact production.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the timber frame or housebuilding industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to motivate and train production staff.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Minimum educational qualifications of GCSE Maths and English.
  • Current Combilift Forklift truck licence (RTITB or ITSAR).
  • Current Counterbalance Forklift truck licence (RTITB or ITSAR).
