Job Title: Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to lead our European Data Center infrastructure growth initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the implementation and deployment of data center expansion projects to meet the demands of our rapidly growing business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, with experience in capital projects/physical infrastructure or mission-critical environments. You will be responsible for managing interface between internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of Data Center projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Breaking down large, complex projects into manageable pieces
  2. Managing end-to-end program delivery from pre-contract design to final handover to Operations
  3. Building and maintaining overall delivery program and project budget
  4. Working with Capacity Planning, Energy, and Real Estate teams to develop short- and long-term build strategies
  5. Supporting continuous process improvement through leading workflow updates and documenting lessons learned

About the Role

This role is a key part of our AWS Infrastructure Services team, which owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.

We are looking for a talented individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality results and has a strong understanding of critical environments and large capital projects. If you are a team player with excellent communication and leadership skills, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. 8+ years of program management experience in capital projects/physical infrastructure or mission-critical environments
  2. Industry experience across either data center, networking engineering, or construction management
  3. Understanding of critical environments and large capital projects and technologies
  4. Experience of data center design, construction, and fit-out projects
