About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our team at NEXT. As a key member of our Technology Squad, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our ServiceNow platform, including developing and managing changes to the platform, scoping and implementing projects, and prioritizing workloads.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the ServiceNow platform, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Develop and implement changes to the platform, collaborating with 3rd party vendors as needed.
  • Scope, test, and implement ServiceNow-related projects, creating supporting documentation and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Prioritize workloads, identifying areas for improvement through automation and orchestration.
  • Perform regression testing and apply fixes for upgrades and patches.
  • Collaborate with the Service Delivery Team Leader to provide SME advice and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Previous hands-on experience with the ServiceNow Platform.
  • Experience with ITOM development and implementation.
  • Estimate and contribute to user and technical stories.
  • Proven capabilities in managing enterprise-level platforms.
  • System integration experience using web services (REST/SOAP).
  • Understanding of XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, Bootstrap, JQuery, JSON.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, specifically Glide APIs.
  • Ability to manage projects, testing, and documentation.
  • Strong planning skills with the ability to prioritize own workload.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with MS SQL and PowerShell.
Desirable
  • CIS certification.
  • Certified System Administrator certification.
  • Good business awareness and experience with ServiceNow.
