Join Our Team

We are seeking a Marketing Communications Lead who will be instrumental in advancing Love2shop's Salesforce organization, contributing to the achievement of our commercial objectives.

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist the Head of Consumer Marketing in the creation and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies aimed at driving customer acquisition, retention, lifetime value, and profitable revenue for PayPoint Group's B2C brands. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the Head of Consumer Marketing and the broader team to manage and implement the daily marketing communications strategy for all PayPoint Group brands, proposing initiatives that align with monthly and annual revenue goals.
  • Working alongside various marketing teams and departments to design, monitor, and execute a diverse range of integrated communication channels, including email, SMS, direct mail, and print.
  • Serving as the primary liaison for the Contact Centre, ensuring that multi-channel communication campaigns are well-structured and executed effectively.
  • Introducing best practices in content creation, subject lines, timing, and frequency, considering the customer lifecycle.
  • Providing guidance and training to team members on best practices, particularly to direct reports.
  • Overseeing the daily management of direct reports, including conducting regular one-on-one meetings.
  • Ensuring that communication layouts are optimized for engagement and mobile compatibility.
  • Collaborating with Creative and CRM teams to develop new email templates for our email service provider.
  • Implementing a testing program to continuously enhance performance.
  • Approving all customer-facing marketing content to ensure it is compelling and drives engagement.
  • Exploring methods to expand database size and improve segmentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements prior to campaign execution.
  • Acting as a Brand Guardian, ensuring consistent application of brand guidelines across all communications.
  • Measuring and reporting on campaign performance, making recommendations for improvements to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with business KPIs.
  • Supporting the management of marketing agencies by providing necessary information and direction.
  • Facilitating timely engagement with internal stakeholders in all marketing initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

  • A relevant degree or qualification in marketing or direct marketing.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in marketing communications.
  • Strong planning, project management, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent copywriting and proofreading abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to align with business KPIs.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Adaptability to change and the ability to redefine goals as necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with key email service providers for building electronic marketing communications.
  • Experience with Google Analytics for tracking and reporting on revenue-generating campaigns.
