About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Scaffold Design Engineer to join our team at Matakana Scaffolding Inc in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects with a range of clients, utilizing your skills in design and engineering to create innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain designs for scaffolding systems, ensuring compliance with local design codes and regulations.
  • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure designs meet manufacturing, technical, and customer requirements.
  • Conduct site visits to verify conditions and review structures, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant technical degree/ Engineer Designation with at least 3 years experience in Scaffolding Engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and knowledge of scaffolding equipment (Ringlock System) and methods.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • An understanding of the construction process and the ability to apply this knowledge to design and engineering tasks.
