Job Summary:

Gregory Distribution is seeking a highly skilled Class 1 Day Driver to join our team. As a Class 1 Day Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to retail stores and collecting containers from port for delivery to our distribution centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliveries: Safely operate curtain side and box trailers on single and double deck trailers to deliver goods to retail stores.
  • Container Collection: Collect multiple containers from port for delivery to our distribution centre.
  • Communication: Maintain regular contact with the transport team to ensure smooth delivery and collection operations.

Requirements:

  • UK Class 1 CE Licence: Possess a valid UK Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Transportation Experience: Proven experience in transportation and logistics.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with the transport team.
