**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 Day Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution Careers. As a Class 1 Day Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to retail stores and collecting containers from port for delivery to distribution centers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Delivering to retail stores on curtain side and box trailers on single and double deck trailers
* Collecting multiple containers from port for delivery to distribution center
* Maintaining regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing customer expectations
* Attending regular training sessions

**Essential Skills:**

* UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence
* Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
* Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous
* Passionate about providing excellent customer service
* Working to deadlines
* Confident, polite, and a team player
* Good geographical knowledge
* Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated
