About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Property Manager to lead our sales and lettings team with a leading independent estate agent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a mixed property portfolio, including leasing and letting of properties, rent reviews, and lease renewals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain a diverse portfolio of properties, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies to optimize property value and minimize risk.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Management team to ensure all compliance checks are complete and up-to-date.
  • Oversee the collection of rents and other monies due, including chasing of arrears and resolving any disputes.
  • Manage and organize improvement, repair, and maintenance work for residential properties, including liaising with tenants and contractors.
  • Conduct annual and periodic property inspections to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify and implement strategic development opportunities to enhance property value and revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, tenants, and contractors.
  • Provide accurate and timely client reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in residential property management, with a strong understanding of compliance and CDM regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, tenants, and contractors.
  • Highly organized, with good time management skills and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
