Key Responsibilities:
In the role of a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will be instrumental in fostering the educational and personal growth of our students.

Your duties will encompass:
  • Assisting educators in implementing tailored educational initiatives and activities.
  • Providing individualized and small group support to students with PMLD, communication and behavioral challenges, and medical requirements.
  • Executing personalized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support strategies (BSPs).
  • Assisting students with daily living skills, personal hygiene, and mobility as necessary.
  • Encouraging a positive and inclusive educational environment.
  • Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
  • Tracking and documenting student progress and reporting to relevant staff members.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Experience in working with children or young adults with special educational needs.
  • Understanding of various disabilities and conditions, including PMLD, autism, and challenging behaviors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Empathy, patience, and a sincere passion for assisting students with SEN.
  • Capability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate the diverse needs of students.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN (preferred but not mandatory).
