Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant. As a key member of our SEN team, you will provide essential support to students with special educational needs, working closely with our experienced teachers and therapists to deliver high-quality support sessions.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, working on a 1:1 and small group basis in class and around school.
- Collaborate with our SEN team to develop and implement personalized learning plans, ensuring students receive the best possible support to achieve their full potential.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being among students.
- Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver high-quality support sessions, using evidence-based strategies and techniques to support student progress.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in SEN support and education.
- Minimum of a 2:1 degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of students and the school.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, with a passion for delivering high-quality support to students with special educational needs.
