Role Summary:
Our client, a prominent construction firm known for executing intricate and high-quality projects, is currently managing the development of a cutting-edge 45 MW data centre. They are in search of a proficient Senior Mechanical Project Coordinator to enhance their accomplished team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the project team and mechanical/electrical subcontractors.
  • Oversee the implementation, evaluation, and commissioning of chilled pipe systems, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Guarantee that all mechanical tasks are executed to the highest specifications, within financial constraints, and on schedule.
  • Coordinate mechanical packages, encompassing planning, procurement, and resource management.
  • Track project advancement, recognize potential challenges, and apply risk mitigation strategies.
  • Examine and endorse technical submissions, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Deliver consistent updates and reports to upper management.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Mechanical Project Coordinator or in a comparable capacity within large-scale construction initiatives.
  • Strong comprehension of mechanical and electrical systems in data centre environments or similar settings.
  • Proven capability to manage subcontractors and ensure project completion within defined parameters.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent credentials.
