A Day in the Life
As a Program Strategist, you will be tasked with planning, executing, and enhancing initiatives that ensure operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with a diverse range of Amazon colleagues to gain insights into their workflows, share your expertise, and identify promising new opportunities. You will take the lead in designing the implementation of these initiatives.

You will motivate and support your teams and colleagues to achieve critical deliverables while proactively seeking new, data-driven methods for improvement. Your contributions will be vital to your team's overall success.

About the Team
The Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team is essential to our rapid delivery capabilities. By joining ATS, you will become part of a diverse group that plays a crucial role in our achievements. Utilizing air, sea, and road transport, along with state-of-the-art sortation centers, you will help optimize Amazon's transportation operations. Our team harnesses data to inform decisions, driving innovation and efficiency within Amazon. We prioritize safety, recognizing that our people are our greatest asset, and we leverage their expertise to ensure timely package delivery.

Basic Qualifications
  • A degree.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional, client-facing programs or projects utilizing project management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.
  • Experience managing complex projects with a diverse range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or SQL in a professional context.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced or master's degree.
  • Project management certification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
  • Experience in an operational environment or with technical teams.
  • Experience with IT software/hardware.
  • Experience with HGV fleet equipment.
  • Experience in recruitment processes.
