We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our team at Amazon UK Services Ltd. in a key role that will drive innovation and transformation in our surface transportation efficiency.
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and improving initiatives that ensure the smooth running of our operations. You will work closely with a range of Amazon colleagues to understand how they work, and what you and your teams can learn, as well as sharing your own expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Program Design and Launch: Take the lead on the design and launch of new programs for our customers, ensuring they meet key objectives and deliverables.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Launch programs, monitor performance metrics, and report on the status of key objectives that affect deliverables.
- Operational Improvement: Use data to understand operational challenges and create continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Management: Work with a variety of other Amazon departments to identify and leverage best practices, and manage stakeholders and internal processes.
- Team Leadership: Lead a multidisciplinary team in overcoming challenges and drive progress, defining standards and processes as needed.
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and improving initiatives that ensure the smooth running of our operations. You will work closely with a range of Amazon colleagues to understand how they work, and what you and your teams can learn, as well as sharing your own expertise.
You will identify exciting new opportunities and take the lead when it comes to designing their implementation. You will encourage and support your teams and colleagues to meet important deliverables, while proactively looking for new, data-backed ways we could do things better.
About the TeamThe Linehaul fill efficiency team works on greenfield projects that aim to reduce wastage and defects in the transportation network. Our vision for the space is zero defects and zero waste.
We do so by engaging with stakeholders across the supply chain eco-system and working on solutions (new and existing) to bring step change in how we manage these transfers.
Requirements- Education: A degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: Relevant experience leading cross-functional programs or projects using project management methodologies.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.
- Complex Project Management: Relevant experience leading complex projects with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership.
- Technical Skills: Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or SQL in a professional environment.
- Advanced Education: A Master's degree in a relevant field.
- End-to-End Delivery: Experience in driving end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
- Process Improvement: Experience leading process improvements.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
- Process Development: Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
