At Digitas UK, we are seeking a highly skilled Paid Search Director to lead our paid search efforts and drive business growth through innovative strategies and tactics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a high-performing team of paid search specialists to ensure targets are met and activity is aligned with our overall marketing strategy.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of paid search campaigns, working closely with our India team and providing expert knowledge.
  • Develop smart, creative, and innovative testing plans to continually refine campaigns and channels and drive better performance.
  • Ensure the adoption of best practices across all paid search activity.
  • Collaborate with other paid media teams to coordinate activity and strategy.
  • Concise and effectively articulate performance updates to key stakeholders and champion the paid media channels within the agency.
  • Work with internal and external partners like Google and Microsoft, and develop first-to-market advantages with new product releases.
  • Be accountable for thought leadership to improve team performance and develop the knowledge and skills of the specialists you manage.
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively, lead knowledge-sharing initiatives with the wider team to produce tangible, actionable outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and the requirements of the evolving digital landscape.
Requirements:
  • 5-6 years' experience setting up, analyzing, and optimizing paid search campaigns to meet objectives, using Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and SA360 or other equivalent management software.
  • Additional experience using Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or other equivalent reporting and analysis software.
  • Extensive knowledge of attribution and measurement, conversion tracking, and audience building and targeting.
  • Proven track record successfully managing large account budgets and driving growth for clients.
  • Strong proficiency in numeracy and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, confidence in presenting, and the ability to think on your feet and respond to questioning.
  • Love for data, analytics, and surfacing insights, and superb attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, and ability to build solid working relationships.
  • Self-motivation, and ability to work under own initiative.
Desirable:
  • Experience using automation to improve paid search performance at scale.
  • Experience managing, growing, and developing a team of specialists.
  • Experience managing other paid media channels - social, programmatic, affiliate, other.
  • Familiarity with organic search, SEO, email, and other digital marketing.
  • Understanding of deploying and manipulating code e.g. HTML, JavaScript.
  • A keen interest in AI and an understanding of its role in paid search.
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant subject.
